About Us

Seventh-day Adventist are Christians who seek to follow Jesus Christ and the teachings of the Bible. We believe that God loves every person, that salvation is found through Jesus Christ, and that the Bible reveals God’s plan for our lives and our future.

The name Seventh-day Adventist reflects two important parts of our faith: we worship on the seventh-day Sabbath, Saturday, asd taught in Scripture, and we joyfully look forward to the second coming, or Advent, of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ is at the center of our faith. We believe that through His life, death, and resurrection, God has provided salvation for everyone who places their faith in Him. Jesus lived among us, revealed the character and love of God, died for our sins, rose from the grave, and now ministers on our behalf in Heaven. We look forward with hope to His promised return.

Seventh-day Adventist believe that the Holy Scriptures, the Old and New testaments, are the written Word of God. The Bible is our foundation for understanding who God is, His plan of salvation, and how He calls us to live. Our beliefs are rooted in Scripture, and we seek God’s guidance through prayer and the study of His Word.

Seventh-day Adventist observe the seventh-day Sabbath, Saturday, as a special day of worship, rest, fellowship, and service. From creation, God blessed and sanctified the Seventh day. The Sabbath gives us an opportunity each week to turn from the ordinary demands of life, worship our Creator, spend time with one another, and remember that our salvation and rest are found in Jesus Christ.

Seventh-day Adventist believe in the literal, personal, and visible return of Jesus Christ. His second coming is the blesse hope of the church and is central to our faith. We believe Jesus will return to gather His people and bring an end to sin, suffering, and death. Because we do not know the day or hour of His return, we seek to live faithfully, share the gospel, and remain ready for His coming.

Seventh-day Adventist believe that faith in Jesus Christ should be reflected in the way we live. We seek to honor God in our health, our use of time and resources, and in the way we care for others. Christian living is not a means of earning salvation, but a grateful response to the grace and love we have received through Jesus Christ.

Seventh-day Adventist are called to share the everlasting gospel of Jesus Christ with the world. We seek to serve others with compassion, proclaim the good news of salvation, encourage people to study the Bible, and prepare hearts for the soon return of Jesus. Our mission extends beyond the walls of the church as we minister to the spiritual, physical, mental, and social needs of people in our community and throughout the world.
